Based on the premise that mental and physical well-being are interrelated, we aim to keep our clients holistically active. We encourage personal choice and we are happy to adjust an activity based on an individual’s preferences.

Our group activities include:

  1. Live music
  2. Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy (quizzes, card games)
  3. Bingo
  4. Arts & crafts
  5. Contemporary issues
  6. Psychoeducational Groups
  7. Theatrical classes
  8. Creative Expression Workshops
  9. Group Physical Activities

Psychosocial assessment includes getting to know the individual and creating a health care plan based on the individual’s past experiences, their current mental health state and overall needs, as well as how well they function on an everyday basis.

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual psychotherapy gives the opportunity to our client to work one – to – one with a clinical psychologist to explore his/her feelings, beliefs, or behaviours, work through challenging memories, identify aspects of his/her life that would like to change, better understand his/her self and others, set individual goals, and work towards change.

People seek therapy for various reasons, from coping with significant life challenges to dealing with depression or anxiety. Others simply desire personal growth and greater self-knowledge. The process of therapy is based on the individual’s unique needs and personal goals.

*It is important to seek professional help if you notice that an issue interferes with your daily functioning causing you distress.

Family Counseling

We work regularly with our clients’ families, offering them help and support to deal with any issues arising from the ageing process. Whether your relative is able to make decisions for themselves or no longer have this ability, it is important to us that you feel comfortable with any decision made. Deciding for someone else takes a huge toll on the whole family. We give you the opportunity to express any concerns, and to support you and your relative throughout the process.
